Praises!

Anonymous praises for God just emailed to me:

I have been overwhelmed recently by the amazing way that God has been moving in Rachel Weeks' life. She has been blossoming as a disciple for the Lord and I just want God (and Rachel) to know how incredible it is to watch and share in. Since I have joined our lifegroup she has just come out of her shell and is just so willing to share the news and the love. It's awesome.

Also, thanks to the Lord for Ali and the incredible job she has been doing for our lifegroup. Her dedication and commitment to moving our group into a greater service oriented frame of mind is making such a difference.

Please add your own praises as comments and share how God is working this week! Or feel free to email them to me and I'll be happy to post them. He is an awesome God, isn't He?

For myself, I'm praising God this evening as well for answered prayers. My heart is soaring! He is such an amazing God!

In Him,
Tara

Daniel Mission this Sunday!

Hey guys, sorry I wasn't able to be in Lifegroup Sunday but just wanted to get a general head count of who is able to participate in the daniel mission this Sunday. Also, an idea of who needs child care and who is willing to stay behind and handle that aspect. Email me please when you know. I have ordered a sandwich tray platter from Publix that will feed up to 48 people. The cost is right at $120.00 , so anyone who is able to donate towards, I would appreciate it. Please dont feel obligated and dont feel like you need to give a lot if you do donate. Your time is what is most needed, so please consider coming with us from 1-3p on Sunday (may change a child's life, may change your life, you never know....). See you Sunday.

~In Christ, Ali Long

Update on Becky! Praise!

Copied from message:

We went to the OB today and got the news that all is ok with Becky and the baby. Becky has a placenta problem from what I discern (I really didn't understand the physics of the whole thing). It's a little low now but they expect it to adjust to the proper position over time. That is what the Dr. believed was causing her problems. She has been told to rest for a couple of days. I expect that she will do well at that. She's a good rest-er. :) Anyway, for now we appear to be out of the woods. We both appreciate all the prayers and compassion. I suppose I was more worried than Becky but we were definitely both concerned. Whether it was a miraculous healing that saved the baby or just a false alarm I suppose I won't know for a while but thank you all for your prayers. I can honestly say that I have never felt more blessed in my life. If you consider that in the last six months I've found Christ, a wonderful church (and its incredible family), and now God is blessing me with my first biological child it seems obvious why I would feel that way. I know that today I felt a sense of love for that unborn child that was 100 times more powerful than anything I felt six months ago. Thanks again everyone for your prayers. We are so blessed knowing all of you. ~Jim
